Operating SOP

1. Pre-operation checklist

• Both chambers filled with FRESH CLEAN WATER — drain and refill DAILY — never reuse standing water
• Blower/pump running — bubble agitation active before loading
• Inlet and discharge arrangements clear
• Plumbing fittings — no leaks

2. Start-up procedure

1. Fill both chambers with fresh clean water
2. Switch on blower/pump — bubble agitation starts

3. Operating steps / parameters

1. Fill both chambers with fresh clean water
2. Switch on blower/pump — bubble agitation starts
3. Load produce into Chamber 1 — minimum 3 min wash time
4. Transfer to Chamber 2 — minimum 2 min
5. Discharge washed produce to draining surface
6. Drain both chambers after every 3 batches — water becomes contaminated

4. Shutdown procedure

• Drain both chambers completely
• Leave drain valves open to air-dry

5. Cleaning / sanitation

• Drain both chambers completely
• Rinse chamber walls with clean water
• Leave drain valves open to air-dry
• Log: produce type | quantity washed | water change frequency | any quality observation

6. Safety / PPE

• WET FLOOR HAZARD — mop spillage immediately
• Electrical connections near water — ensure all connections are protected

7. Troubleshooting

Bubble agitation weak (pump filter blocked) | Water recirculation slow (debris in pump inlet) — call supervisor

8. Preventive maintenance

Routine prevention is embedded in the pre-operation and post-operation checks; no separate time-based preventive-maintenance interval is stated on the source card.
