1. Pre-operation checklist
• Inspect Teflon belt — no discolouration or tears
• Temperature set for this pouch laminate type (see temperature guide on machine)
• 5-minute warm-up before first pouch
• Conveyor belt tension correct

2. Start-up procedure
1. Switch on — allow 5 min warm-up
2. Run test pouch — pull seal firmly — must not open without tearing laminate

3. Begin production — feed pouches STRAIGHT
4. Check seal every 25 pouches — press firmly 5 seconds
5. Reject any pouch with visible gap in seal line
6. Switch off when batch complete — allow to cool

5. Cleaning / sanitation
• Wipe Teflon belt with DRY cloth only — NEVER wet cloth on hot belt

6. Safety / PPE
• SEALING BAR REACHES 180°C — never touch during or immediately after operation
• Allow 10 min cool-down before cleaning

7. Troubleshooting
Seal quality inconsistent or Teflon belt brown across >10% width — REPLACE BELT immediately
