Operating SOP

1. Pre-operation checklist

• Run Destoner (Sl.1) first — only cleaned grain enters
• Check rubber roll gap setting for millet variety
• Husk outlet clear — collection bag attached
• Motor and belt guard in place

2. Start-up procedure

1. Switch on — allow 10 sec to reach full speed
2. Feed cleaned grain steadily

2. Feed cleaned grain steadily
3. Check output — dehusked grain should have no visible husk
4. If husk in output — tighten gap slightly
5. Clear husk outlet every 30 minutes
6. Run empty 1 min when batch complete

5. Cleaning / sanitation

• Clear husk from outlet and bag
• Brush all contact surfaces
• Log: millet variety | input weight | output weight | husk weight

6. Safety / PPE

• DUST MASK mandatory
• Never adjust rubber roll gap while running
• Belt guard must be in place before start

7. Troubleshooting

Dehusking efficiency below 85% or squealing from rollers — call supervisor

8. Preventive maintenance

Routine prevention is embedded in the pre-operation and post-operation checks; no separate time-based preventive-maintenance interval is stated on the source card.
