Operating SOP
1. Pre-operation checklist
• Air Compressor (Sl.31) running — pressure gauge reads 6–8 bar
• Pneumatic hoses connected and leak-free
• Flush nozzle with 100ml oil before loading pickle — clears dried residue
• Hopper clean and dry
• Bottles ready — correct size for 40mm nozzle
• Pneumatic hoses connected and leak-free

2. Start-up procedure
1. Confirm Sl.31 pressure at 6–8 bar
2. Load pickle into hopper

3. Trigger fill — check first 5 bottles by weight
4. Anti-drip check: nozzle must stop cleanly after each fill
5. Clean nozzle externally every 20 fills — pickle residue contaminates bottle exterior

4. Shutdown procedure
• Disconnect pneumatic hoses
5. Cleaning / sanitation
• Empty hopper completely
• Flush nozzle with warm water
• Disconnect pneumatic hoses
• Log: pickle variety | bottles filled | fill weight (avg/min/max) | any nozzle or pressure issues

6. Safety / PPE
• Pneumatic pressure — release before disconnecting hoses

7. Troubleshooting
Filling pressure inconsistent (check Sl.31 pressure) | Nozzle not clearing cleanly (valve seat cleaning) — call supervisor
