Operating SOP

1. Pre-operation checklist

• Run Destoner (Sl.27) first — only cleaned paddy enters this machine
• Rubber hulling rolls inspected — if surface smooth and glossy rather than grippy — REPLACE ROLLS before starting
• Husk discharge clear — collection bag attached
• Fan/blower outlet clear

2. Start-up procedure

1. Switch on — allow 10 sec to reach full speed
2. Feed pre-cleaned paddy from Sl.27 steadily — rated 100 kg/hr

3. Operating steps / parameters

1. Switch on — allow 10 sec to reach full speed
2. Feed pre-cleaned paddy from Sl.27 steadily — rated 100 kg/hr
3. Check hulling efficiency every 20 min — less than 10% un-hulled in output is acceptable
4. Check grain breakage — maximum 5% broken rice acceptable
5. Clear husk collection bag every 45 minutes
6. Run machine empty 2 min when batch complete

4. Shutdown procedure

6. Run machine empty 2 min when batch complete

5. Cleaning / sanitation

• Empty husk collection bag
• Brush all surfaces
• Log: paddy in | hulled rice out | husk weight | efficiency check | breakage observation

6. Safety / PPE

• DUST MASK mandatory
• Fan discharge — keep face clear

7. Troubleshooting

Hulling efficiency below 90% despite gap adjustment (rubber rolls worn) | Rice breakage above 7% (roll gap too tight) — call supervisor

8. Preventive maintenance

Routine prevention is embedded in the pre-operation and post-operation checks; no separate time-based preventive-maintenance interval is stated on the source card.
